This policy explains what personal data Vanq Studios Limited collects through vanqstudios.com and by email, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Who we are
VANQ Studios is the trading name of Vanq Studios Limited, a private company registered in Nigeria (RC 9057832). We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@vanqstudios.com or +234 906 692 4984.
What we collect
- Enquiry details you give us through our form or by email: your name, email address, business name, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), website or social handle (optional), the tier you're considering, whether our pricing fits your budget, and anything you tell us about your business.
- Project information if you become a client: the brand, business and contact details needed to deliver your project and invoice you.
- Basic visit statistics through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across other websites.
- Security logs kept automatically by our hosting provider, such as IP addresses, to protect the site from abuse.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, decide together whether we're a good fit, and arrange a discovery call — based on your consent and on steps you ask us to take before a contract.
- To deliver and invoice your project if you become a client — based on our contract with you and our legal obligations.
- To keep the website secure and understand, in aggregate, how it's used — based on our legitimate interests.
We do not sell your data. We will not add you to marketing emails unless you clearly ask to be included.
Who helps us
We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, security, email routing and cookie-free analytics.
- Web3Forms — delivers enquiry form submissions to our inbox.
- Google — our email inbox (Gmail).
Some of these providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we rely on providers that apply recognised safeguards to protect personal data.
How long we keep it
If an enquiry doesn't lead to a project, we delete it within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as our contract requires and for as long as Nigerian law requires us to keep business and tax records.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, or limit how we use it;
- stop using your data where we rely on legitimate interests;
- send your data to you or another organisation in a usable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before.
Email hello@vanqstudios.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
Cookies
vanqstudios.com does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so visiting does not share your details with font providers.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
